Fed: ANU launches south Asian studies centre
As Australia seeks to build economic and political ties with India .. the Australian
National University has unveiled a new centre dedicated to studies of the subcontinent.
ANU tonight will launch its South Asia Centre .. which will offer language courses
and specialised research on India .. Pakistan and their neighbours.
The courses will cover history .. politics .. religion .. languages .. culture and
security studies.
