Qld: Same sex couples to legally access altruistic surrogacy

Same-sex couples will be included in Queensland government plans to decriminalise altruistic
surrogacy.

Queensland is the only Australian state where it's still illegal to have an altruistic
surrogacy .. where no money changes hands.

Premier ANNA BLIGH has told state parliament .. every Queenslander who wants to be
a parent should be given the opportunity.

Attorney-General CAMERON DICK is expected to announce more details of the plan at noon (AEST).
