FED: Archbishop says change needed but gay marriage is wrong

The Anglican Archbishop of Sydney says any changes to laws which discriminate against
same-sex couples should be pro-people and not just pro-gay.

Dr PETER JENSEN .. who remains opposed to gay marriage .. says there are various legal
injustices that need to be fixed.

But he says the changes shouldn't be solely about same-sex relationships.

Federal Attorney-General ROBERT MCLELLAND has announced amendments to about 100 commonwealth
laws will be introduced during the winter session of parliament to remove same-sex discrimination.
