Tasha Strawbridge scored on a rebound to spark No. 3 Palatine(4-2) to a 1-0 victory over crosstown rival Fremd 1-0 Wednesday atFremd.
The Pirates will meet No. 4 Hoffman Estates on Saturday.
"We weren't emotionally charged against (top-ranked)Libertyville (a 3-1 loss) and I don't know why," Strawbridge said."We couldn't afford to let that happen to us again."
